December in Florida

Glenn's parents are finally settled in and they enjoyed their first Christmas season in their new home.
Glenn's Mom and I enjoyed finishing a winter puzzle...

We're getting to know Glenn's parents' neighbors via golf and KUB (a backyard lawn game)...
Josh came to visit and helped us with more puzzles...
On Christmas Eve we were able to "be together" as a family of four - skyping with Rachel in Australia!
On Christmas Day Glenn's family celebrated Christ's birth in Glenn's parents' home!
their new living room easily fit us all...
and Dad and Mom Wittmann loved the sign Glenn made for their new home!
We decided to have a traditional ECUADORIAN New Year's Eve so Glenn and Josh began building a Monigote...
If you remember from our March 2012 newsletter, Monigotes are built and burned at midnite on New Year's Eve...
as a way to leave the past behind and look with hope to the future...
It reminds us of 2 Corinthians 5:17 - being made new in Christ....
and reminds us to hope in God and look ahead to what God has for us in 2013!
Happy New Year to all of our friends and family!  Without you, our ministries with Crossworld would be impossible!  Next month we'll fill you in on our new ministries here in Florida!
